ANSI/ISEA 105: 2016 is an American standard that defines the protection levels for cut-resistant gloves. It provides a standardized method for evaluating the cut resistance of gloves and makes it easier to select the right product for specific work requirements. The rating on a scale of 1 to 9 is based on a test procedure that measures the force required to cut through the material of the glove.

EN407 is a European standard that specifies the requirements for gloves to protect against thermal risks, including heat and fire. The standard includes six different tests that evaluate the protective performance of the gloves in terms of flame resistance, contact heat, convective heat, radiant heat, splashes of molten metal and large quantities of molten metal. This standard is especially important for workers in high temperature environments, such as welding or foundry.
